Questions organisers ask

Are there any hidden fees?

Absolutely not. What you see is what you pay. Our flat per-ticket fee is the only charge from EntryTicket. Standard Stripe payment processing fees apply separately (1.5% + 20p for UK cards), but these go directly to Stripe — not us.

How do I get paid?

You connect your own Stripe account. Ticket money is paid out to your Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank on its usual schedule.

Can I pass the fee on to the ticket buyer?

Yes! You choose whether to absorb the fee or pass it on to the buyer at checkout. Either way, the total price is shown transparently to the buyer before they pay.

Is my event a charity or non-profit?

If you're a registered UK charity (with a Charity Commission number), contact us with your registration details and we'll apply the charity rate (25p/ticket + Stripe fees, no monthly fee) to your account within 24 hours.

What about free events?

Free events are always free on EntryTicket — no fees, no limits. You get unlimited free-ticket events with full RSVP management. If you later decide to run paid events, just pick a plan and start selling.

Why are your fees so much lower than Eventbrite?

We use a flat-fee model instead of percentage-based pricing. Eventbrite charges 6.95% + £0.59 per ticket — which means the more expensive your ticket, the more they take. Our flat fee stays the same whether your ticket costs £5 or £500.
