Tamil events
Ticketing for Tamil events across the UK
EntryTicket is a UK ticketing platform built for events like Tamil concerts, cultural nights and festival celebrations. Organisers share their event link in WhatsApp groups, buyers pay by card and receive QR tickets on WhatsApp and email, and volunteers scan tickets at the door on their phones. Starter costs 49p per ticket, no VAT added plus Stripe's fee.

One platform for every community
EntryTicket is for all UK organisers and every community. This page covers Tamil events; see community and cultural events for festivals and groups of every background.
Built for how Tamil events actually sell
Tickets for community events usually sell through WhatsApp groups, family networks and word of mouth, and the event itself is often in a school or community hall where the signal is poor. EntryTicket is set up for exactly that.
Events you can run
- Concerts and kacheri
- Drama and theatre nights
- Pongal and Tamil New Year (Puthandu) celebrations
- Navarathri events
- Tamil Heritage Month events (often marked in January)
- Sangam dinners and AGMs
- School anniversary and alumni nights
Sell in your WhatsApp groups
Share one link in your groups and status. Buyers pay by card through Stripe and get their QR ticket straight back in WhatsApp, with a copy by email. The WhatsApp selling guide has message templates you can copy.
Door check-in in community halls
Volunteers scan tickets on their own phones, or find guests by name and check them in. The scanner needs a data connection; if the hall signal is weak, see our check-in guide for poor-signal venues.
Money straight to your association's Stripe
Ticket money is paid out to your Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank on its usual schedule. No chasing bank transfers. Free events cost £0, and registered charities, temples, churches, mosques and other places of worship, CICs and school PTAs can request 25p per ticket, no VAT added, plus Stripe fees. See charity ticketing.
