Where EntryTicket is different
- WhatsApp delivery. Tickets go to WhatsApp and email, so buyers in group chats always have them to hand.
- No credit packs. You pay 49p per ticket, no VAT added, plus Stripe's card fee, when a paid ticket sells; there is nothing to buy upfront.
- Paid out to your Stripe. Ticket money is paid out to your Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank on its usual schedule.
- Charity rate. Registered charities, temples, churches, mosques and other places of worship, CICs and school PTAs can request 25p per ticket, no VAT added, plus Stripe fees, with no monthly fee. See charity ticketing.
Where Ticket Tailor may suit you better
- High volume with prepaid credits. From 22p + VAT a ticket, prepaid credits can work out lower than EntryTicket's 49p per ticket (no VAT) + Stripe fees if you sell a lot.
- Payment options. If you need a payment provider other than Stripe, check what Ticket Tailor supports.
- Seating. EntryTicket does not offer reserved seating, so if you need a seating plan, check what Ticket Tailor supports.
Worked example: 200 tickets at £15
| Platform fee per ticket | Platform fee for 200 tickets | |
|---|---|---|
| EntryTicket Starter | 49p | £98.00 |
| Ticket Tailor pay-as-you-go | 60p + VAT = 72p | £144.00 |
| Ticket Tailor prepaid (lowest tier) | from 22p + VAT = 26.4p | from £52.80 |
Card processing is extra on all three. With Stripe on standard UK cards that is 42.5p a ticket (1.5% + 20p), or £85 for 200 tickets. Prepaid credit tiers depend on how many you buy; see Ticket Tailor's pricing page.
